Hope During the Pain

I'd like to offer some hope about any pain you may have at this time. I found that when I experienced difficulties with my tendons and other things, I felt like it would be here forever. It felt that way because I just didn't see how my flexibility would improve. I felt permanently damaged, you know.

But just know that it does get better. ;O) You will not stay with the difficulty forever. It may be a slower recovery than we would like, but you do get better.

At this time I'm not pain-free— yet. But I have less pain now then I had 3 weeks ago. That's how I measure it to keep myself focused on the right thing.

I hate how fast my foot gets tired & achy from just walking the dog, but I remember when I couldn't walk the dog, or drive my car! So focus on the little bits of progress. Smile and say, "Hey I couldn't do such-and-such 3 weeks ago!"

SMILE
