Why is the Skin of my 4th Toe Sooooo Sensitive?

I've been wondering why with even the slightest touch, I feel such sensitivity right here— still! I thought for sure, by now, it would be gone. I mean, the surgery wad inside my foot, not the actual toe.

But it dawned on me that not only is everything connected, but this skin, underneath my 4th toe, hasn't felt anything against it in decades! It will have to work up the experience I guess. ;o)

The right image isn't weight bearing, but you get the idea.

Hi Debora!

WOW!! your foot and toe look so great! congratulations!

I was thinking about the high sensitivity in your toe, but I cannot find any explanation... maybe it is due to the operation (stress, new situation for it...), but I cannot tell you anything for sure!

I think the high sensitivity will disappear... My toe was very sensitive before, but now is normal, like the others :)

I have to say you some news... I can wear high-heeled shoes, and they do not hurt my foot at all!! I have to learn again how to wear them, but I can wear them without any pain!

Congratulations again, and now just go day by day, little by little :)

Kisses!!

Hi Anita! Thanks so much for your comment. ;o) It's so awesome that you are wearing heals now, that's great! I've been massaging my foot lately, including the sensitive skin on the bottom of my 4th toe. The sensitivity seems to be getting better now. I think it's because that toe hasn't touched the ground since I was 7! LOL. Thanks again!
